Who are Ramblegard?
Ramblegard, a division of S&E CareTrade, are specialists in Fall Prevention Equipment for the Care Industry. We work with NHS Trusts and Care Home Groups throughout the UK & Ireland and via a network of distributors throughout Europe & Australia to provide solutions for vulnerable and at-risk patients and their carers.
How has Ramblegard improved patient safety and care across the health sector?
We have developed a range of solutions that provide an instant alert when the patient attempts to mobilise. This enables the carer to react and assist immediately, which in turn, dramatically reduces the risk of falls related injuries. Ramblegard products can be fully integrated with an existing nurse call system or can operate as a standalone system. We aim to offer a solution for any environment or patient requirement.
What has been your greatest achievement to date? And were there any measurable outcomes that accompanied this achievement?
We have had many standout achievements over the years with one of the greatest being accepted and registered onto the NHS Framework Agreement. This approval has given us nationwide NHS acceptance for the product and allowed us to actively engage with approximately 50 Trusts, the majority of which are now benefiting from Ramblegard systems.
How many organisations currently utilise the systems/solution across the UK?
We currently supply approximately 50 Health Service and NHS Trusts throughout the UK. We are the preferred supplier for all Care Homes within the Four Seasons Health Care Group, and via our chain of distributors in England. Our systems are in use in other large Care Home Groups (such as Runwood Homes, Care UK and MHA) as well as independent facilities across the country.
